HeartSine offers three Samaritan PAD models in the refurbished market: the 350P, 360P, and 450P. They share the same chassis, same Pad-Pak system, same IP56 rating, same weight, same waveform. The differences come down to two operational choices: does the rescuer press the shock button or does the device deliver the shock automatically, and does the device provide real-time CPR rate coaching.
Choose the 360P when your facility most likely will be deploying the AED with untrained bystanders environments where the rescuer may not be a trained employee. The fully automatic shock delivery eliminates one decision under stress. Choose the 350P when your facility has trained responders who are comfortable with semi-automatic operation and you want the lowest price point in the line. Choose the 450P when real-time CPR rate feedback matters for your responder profile.
Fully Automatic — Removes the Shock-Button Decision
Studies consistently show that untrained bystanders sometimes hesitate to press a shock button on another human being, even when the AED clearly indicates a shock is appropriate. The hesitation typically lasts only a few seconds but in sudden cardiac arrest, those seconds materially affect survival odds. The 360P removes this decision from the rescue entirely. When the device's analysis determines a shock is medically appropriate, the 360P delivers it automatically while announcing "Stand clear" through its voice prompts.
For environments where the most likely first responder is a random member of the public retail customers, transit passengers, hotel guests, congregation members the fully automatic design is the safer operational choice. For environments with trained responders, the operational difference matters less and the semi-automatic 350P provides the same defibrillation capability at a lower price.
One-Button OperationThe 360P has only an on/off button no shock button. The simplest possible interface for an untrained responder under stress. Turn the device on, follow the voice prompts, apply the pads. The device handles the rest.
Among the Lightest AEDsAt just 2.4 pounds, the 360P is one of the smallest and lightest AEDs available. Compact enough for vehicle storage, athletic kits, marine vessels, and travel deployments where every ounce matters.
IP56 Industry-Leading RatingThe IP56 rating exceeds the IP55 rating of most competitive AEDs. Designed for industrial, outdoor, marine, and other harsh environments where dust and water resistance matter.
Pad-Pak Unified CartridgeSingle cartridge contains both battery and adult electrodes with one shared 4-year expiration date. Over a 4-year span, one Pad-Pak replacement instead of one battery and two separate pad replacements.
SCOPE Biphasic WaveformHeartSine's proprietary Self-Compensating Output Pulse Envelope an escalating, low-energy biphasic waveform that automatically adjusts for patient impedance, delivering effective therapy while minimizing energy exposure.
Voice + Visual + MetronomeStep-by-step voice instructions with synchronized visual diagrams and an integrated CPR metronome that paces compressions to the AHA-recommended 100–120 BPM. Coaches CPR rate even though the 360P does not provide real-time rate feedback.
Weekly Self-TestsThe device runs automatic weekly self-checks of battery voltage, internal electronics, and electrode connection. The System Status Ready Indicator on the front of the device flashes when ready — visible without opening the unit.
LIFELINKcentral Compatible (WiFi Variant)The WiFi-equipped variant connects to HeartSine's LIFELINKcentral cloud platform for automated weekly self-test reporting and remote device readiness monitoring. Basic monitoring features available when connected; advanced multi-device fleet features may require subscription.
Compact 8.0 × 7.25 × 1.9 Inch FootprintUp to 56% smaller footprint than other compact AEDs fits into spaces other AEDs can't. Suitable for small office desk drawers, aircraft galley compartments, vehicle glove boxes, or other tight installations.
