If your facility primarily relies on untrained bystanders responding to cardiac arrest schools, gyms, retail, places of worship the LIFEPAK CR2 is the better fit. Manual Override A Professional Feature
The LIFEPAK 1000 allows configured trained responders to deliver a shock even if the AED's analysis algorithm returns a "no shock" decision. This feature exists because trained clinicians may identify subtle shockable rhythms the algorithm misses and they need the operational authority to act on their judgment.
Manual override is restricted to configured users and is disabled by default. Public-access deployments should leave manual override off. Manual mode access is one of the main reasons EMS, fire, and paramedic services choose the LIFEPAK 1000 over other AED platforms.
cprMAX TechnologyAllows configuration of CPR intervals to match facility protocols. Pre-shock CPR interval can be set to keep compressions running while the device charges reducing pre-shock pause.
