The shelf life of this electrode, 24 months from date of manufacture, is the same figure ZOLL applies regardless of gel type on comparable two-piece adult electrodes; HVP is a skin-contact and conductivity improvement, not a shelf-life extension technology on its own.
What HVP does support well is longer patient-contact scenarios, extended ECG monitoring, non-invasive pacing over time, transport, where reduced skin irritation over a longer application genuinely matters more than it would for a brief defibrillation-only use.
