Infant/Child Reduced Energy Defibrillation Electrode Pads

These electrode pads are designed for use with LIFEPAK® 500 AEDs equipped with a pink connector (standard on AEDs built after 8/9/02), as well as any LIFEPAK® CR Plus, LIFEPAK® EXPRESS, or LIFEPAK® 1000 defibrillator. They are intended for use on children up to 8 years of age or weighing up to 25kg (55lb).

Key Features:

Reduced Energy Delivery: These pads reduce the energy dose delivered to the patient by a factor of four. For example, if the AED is set up to deliver 200, 300, or 360 joules using adult pads, the dose will be approximately 50, 75, or 86 joules with these Infant/Child pads.
Smaller Size: The electrode pads are smaller than standard adult defibrillation pads, making them suitable for younger patients.
Compatibility: Can be used with LIFEPAK 500 (with pink connector), LIFEPAK CR Plus, LIFEPAK 1000, and LIFEPAK EXPRESS AEDs.

Usage:

Intended For: Children up to 8 years old or weighing up to 25kg (55lb).
Application: Ideal for extending heart-safe programs to include young children, offering the opportunity to save many years of someone's life.

Important Note:

Biphasic LIFEPAK® 500 AEDs without pink connector plugs cannot be upgraded to accept these low-energy electrodes.
