Philips HeartStart FRx SMART Pads II OverviewThe Philips SMART Pads II are versatile defibrillation electrode pads designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FRx AED. Packaged in a protective plastic case that fits securely inside the FRx semi-rigid carry case, these pads are disposable and intended for single use. To ensure your AED is always rescue-ready, it’s best to keep an extra set on hand and replace them before the expiration date printed on the cartridge. SMART Pads II have a minimum 24-month shelf life from the date of manufacture.
Pediatric Compatibility with the Infant/Child KeyWith the addition of the Philips FRx Infant/Child Key, the same SMART Pads II can be used for infants, children, and adults. This eliminates the need to manage multiple pad types and ensures fast readiness for patients of all ages.
Compatibility with Other Philips DevicesSMART Pads II are compatible with a wide range of Philips AEDs and professional defibrillators:
Philips HeartStart FRx (preconnected capability)
Philips HeartStart FR3 (preconnected capability)
Philips HeartStart FR2 and FR2+
Philips HeartStart MRx, XL, XLT, and XL+ (ALS defibrillators)
Note: These pads are not compatible with the Philips HeartStart OnSite (HS1) or Forerunner AEDs. For those devices, use model-specific pads.
