The Pad-Pak Cost Advantage
HeartSine consolidates the adult electrodes and battery into a single Pad-Pak cartridge with one expiration date. Competing AEDs require tracking and replacing two separate consumables (pads on a 2 to 5-year cycle, batteries on a 4 to 5-year cycle). The Pad-Pak's 4-year combined cycle and single-SKU replacement reduces program-management overhead, which is meaningful when running multiple AEDs across a facility.
