Built from rugged metal with a baked-on white finish, the cabinet pairs a door-activated audible alarm with a high-visibility flashing strobe light — two redundant alerts that maximize the chance someone notices when the AED is deployed.
This is the same physical cabinet body as the no-alarm variant (50-00392-10) with the alarm and strobe assembly added on top — meaning the strobe light adds an additional 3 inches to the overall cabinet height, making the cabinet even more visible from down the corridor. The cabinet protects the AED from dust, casual tampering, and accidental impact while keeping it clearly visible through the front window.
What makes this cabinet stand out from generic alarmed enclosures is the security-enabled wiring option: the alarm can be wired into your building's existing security system, so a door-open event triggers a notification at your security desk or monitoring station — not just an audible alert near the cabinet. The keyed switch on the alarm assembly lets authorized staff disable the alarm for scheduled maintenance, training drills, or pad replacement without setting off the building system.

The cabinet has two integrated hooks inside. The Powerheart G3 hangs on both hooks for two-point support — recommended configuration. The G5 hangs on a single hook designed for its handle geometry. The alarm assembly includes terminals for hard-wiring into a building's security system.
