The Cardiac Science Standard Size AED Cabinet (MPN 50-00392-10) is the manufacturer's surface-mount wall cabinet designed for the Cardiac Science Powerheart G3 and G5 automated external defibrillators. Built from sturdy metal with a baked-on white finish, the cabinet protects the AED from dust, accidental impact, and casual tampering while keeping it clearly visible through the front window.
This is the no-alarm variant of the cabinet family the simplest, most cost-effective option in the Cardiac Science cabinet line. The same cabinet body is also available with an audible alarm (50-00392-20) and with an audible alarm plus strobe light (50-00392-30) for facilities that need active tamper deterrence. If you need an alarmed cabinet, see the Cardiac Science cabinet with alarm and strobe instead.
Surface-mount installation means the cabinet attaches directly to the wall surface no drywall cutout, no electrical work, no specialized tools. The integrated hooks inside the cabinet allow the Powerheart G3 to hang on both hooks for secure two-point support, while the Powerheart G5 hangs on a single hook designed for its handle. The AED can be stored with or without its carry case.
The 50-00392-10 cabinet is designed specifically for the Cardiac Science Powerheart AED line. Interior dimensions (17.375" H × 17.25" W × 6.875" D) accommodate both the G3 and G5 with or without their soft carry cases.
The cabinet has two integrated hooks inside. The Powerheart G3 hangs on both hooks for two-point support recommended configuration. The G5 hangs on a single hook designed for its handle geometry. Hooks keep the AED stable inside the cabinet so it doesn't shift during transport or accidental door bumps.
Cardiac Science offers the same surface-mount cabinet body in three alarm configurations. The right choice depends on your facility type, how publicly accessible the AED is, and whether tamper deterrence matters for your installation.
The 50-00392-10 is a surface-mount cabinet it attaches directly to the wall surface through four mounting holes in the back plate. No drywall cutout, no electrical work, no specialized tools. Total install time is typically 30 minutes with a stud finder, level, drill, and screwdriver.
U.S. state laws on AED placement, signage, and registration vary.
